About Us

Battle Creek is a Kindergarten through fifth grade school, with an enrollment average around 600 students.

We have enrichment opportunities for Band, Orchestra and Choir for our 4^th and 5^th graders. Child care is available before and after school through Salem Child Development Center.

Battle Creek opened in September 2012 with an enrollment of 490 students. Construction was made possible through a construction bond passed in November 2008 by voters within Salem-Keizer Public Schools boundaries. Voters passed a local measure for a $242.1 million construction bond to repair and renovate local schools, and to address overcrowding.  Our school has increased student enrollment each year that we have been opened.
