25-26 Kindergarten registration is now open!!

If your student turns 5 years old on or by September 10th, then they qualify for Kindergarten in the fall of 2025-26. Online enrollment is now open, its important that when you are enrolling your Kindergartener that you are selecting the 2025-26 school year as this current year is still open for new families arriving in the district.

Important Key dates for Kindergarten 2025-26

• Kinder Orientation May 28th at 4pm
• Jump start Kindergarten (JSK) August 11th - 15th
• Kindergarten assessments: Tentative September 3-5, 2025
• Kindergarten transition day: September 8th (Last name starts with A-L)
• Kindergarten Transition day: September 9th (Last name starts with M-Z)
• First day of Kindergarten: September 10th

When you are registering for Kindergarten, don't forget to sign your student up for Jumpstart Kinder (JSK)! This will be happening August 11th through the 15th. JSK is a great way for incoming kindergarteners to start learning the in's and out's of Battle Creek along with meeting the Kindergarten team and office staff. JSK is typically a half day event with breakfast and lunch included. There will be transportation services for those that qualify. More details will come as we get closer to this event.
