Let it Snow Kindness Holiday Gift Drive
Battle Creek Elementary has a chance to bring some joy and kindness to children in our school community through our holiday gift drive. We are collecting items for our Let it Snow Kindness Holiday Gift Drive.
A light-blue information and application sheet regarding the gift drive was sent home in your child’s Monday folder on November 8th.
Please share this experience with your children. This is a great opportunity for them to learn about giving!
If you are in need and would like to receive holiday gifts for your children
Please complete the paper application and return it to Battle Creek school counselor, Ms. Benson, on or before Tuesday, November 23 at 3:20 p.m.
You may instead complete an online application if you prefer. If you are already receiving help from another holiday program, please be mindful of limited community resources. Our school counselor will contact you when gifts are available for pickup.

If you would like to participate in the drive
If you are interested in participating, please go to SignUpGenius (click button below), where people can sign up to help a Battle Creek child or their sibling. Each listing on the website is for an anonymous child and will show their age, gender, and items they need or want for the holidays. For confidentiality, each family will have a letter and each child will have a number (for example, one family may be C 5 Boy Age 5 and C 6 Girl Age 10). Please take note of the letter and number of the child/children you sponsor.
Please bring your UNWRAPPED gifts to Battle Creek by Wednesday, December 8. Be sure to attach the recipient child’s letter and number to each gift so we know whom it is for. If purchasing multiple gifts for a student, please group them together in a bag.
